Fusion Global HR: Retrieve Latest LDAP Changes Not Updating HCM Email Field

LDAP process was initially suspected (hence the title of the document) however, LDAP retrieval process is not intended to sync email addresses.
In Release 8, updating a work-email addresses via OIM did not flow over to HCM after LDAP Processes.
According to the following document: Unable To Update Email In OIM Via HCM Data Loader (Doc ID 1918764.1), the email should be updated in OIM and flow to HCM, however, any updates made via OIM (the correct method) do not flow to HCM even after both LDAP processes are run.
