Share Read Only Performance Document With Any Other Employee In The Organization By Manager (Doc ID 1952523.1)

Symptoms

On : 11.1.8.0.0 version, Manage Worker Performance

Sharing read only Performance Document (PD) with any other employee in the organization by manager.

Requirement:  Manager wants to share ratings (read only PD) with any other employee before completing the performance cycle the application should support.  

Currently this feature is NOT available.
 
Companies may not want to include all levels of management in the performance review approval process (mostly because higher levels of management are too busy and do not have time to approve every single review and therefore slow down the review process), but for sake of transparency a manager may need to share the document with higher management levels.
 
Example:
 
Org Chart is as follows
C level
VP level
Sr. Director level
Director level
Manager level
Employee level
 
The company may decide the performance review needs to be approved by Manager and Director. The Sr. Director and VP may want to see the reviews before they get presented to the employees but they do not want to hold the process if they do not have time and have higher priorities.  Being able to share the performance document with the hierarchy above them is a great tool. It allows transparency throughout the organization and flexibility (one VP may say I want to see all reviews, another one may want to see X,Y,Z, and another one may not want to see them at all).


Hence, if the manager wants to share ratings (read only PD) with any other employee before completing the performance cycle the application should support that.
