Getting error after the Employee Compensation Approval

The approval rule for Employee Compensation Management has been setup as for EMEA countries, to go for Line manager approval.
But if the line manager approves, transaction is not getting completed and two notifications are displayed: one for approval and one for failed with errors.

Failed with Errors: Individual Compensation Award Approval Requested
ORA-01403: no data found ORA-06512: at line 83 .</TEXT><CAUSE></CAUSE><ACTION></ACTION><DETAILS></DETAILS><INCIDENT></INCIDENT></MESSAGE>SEVERITY_ERRORoracle.apps.fnd.applcore.messages.ApplcoreExceptionoracle.jbo.JboException} cause: {null}

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Go to Person Management > Search for a person in EMEA
2. Manage Compensation > Award Compensation
3. Enter compensation details
4. Click Continue > List of approver manager is displayed > Submit
5. Log in as approving manager and approve ICD entry
6. Log in as next manager: two notifications displayed, one for approval and one for failed with errors
