Information in this document applies to any platform.
An employee with the working hours from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM applies for leave. For a single day absence, the number of hours is calculated in accordance with their working hours. For longer absences, the working hours do not reflect their hours. For example:
Apply for 5 days absence. The system calculates this as 20 hours. Enter the start and end time for the absence. The hours are subtracted only on the first and last day of the absence.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to Person Management.
2. Go to Manage Absence Record.
3. Add a new absence for a number of days. Observe that the hours are only accounted correctly on the first and last days. For all other days, the full day is calculated as an absence.
