Fusion PIM: Items Not Created After Successful Import When Multiple Languages Installed (Doc ID 1995787.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
When importing items using item batch with schedule option = On Data Load, item import is not importing the items and there is no error.
Even after doing a 'Save and Import' from Manage Item Batches UI, the items are not imported.

Items are being imported using Import maps and item description is mapped to Dutch, but not English (Item.Main.Item Description.NL).

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

If the item batch option is: On Data Load, then items should be imported and if there is a reason for failure, it should be shown in the request log file.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create an item batch with schedule option = On Data Load
2. Create import map and upload data
3. Item Import is submitted, but no data is imported and there are no errors in the log file.
