Annual Leave Balance Calculation Includes Absences That Have Been Requested But Not Approved (Doc ID 1996818.1)

Symptoms

The Annual Leave balance calculation is not correct. An absence is Awaiting Approval but system is deducting the absence from the employee's balance. It is expected that the employee's absence balance should only reflect approved absences.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1.  My portrait > Manage Absence Records
2.  Request an absence, and submit it.
3.  Observe that the remaining balance is reduced, even though the absence is not yet approved.
