 You are trying to create a BI Publisher data model in Fusion Applications.  To do this you followed these steps:

  1. Log in to BI Answers or the BI Publisher interface.
  2. Click New --> Data Model.
  3. Default Data Source = Oracle BI EE.
  4. Click on Data Sets in the left pane.
  5. When this populates the right pane, click on the icon for New Data Set.
  6. Select SQL Query from the list of values that appears.
  7. The Create Data Set - SQL window appears.  Enter anything you want for the name and click the Query Builder button.
  8. This opens a new browser window titled Query Builder.
  9. In the Catalog list of values, select a Subject Area.
  10. Inside that Subject Area, select any DIM.
  11. This populates DIM information in the right pane.
  12. Select any of the fields from which you want to see data.
  13. Click the Results link above the right pane.
  14. Error appears on screen:
