ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

[Visibility] Cannot create account for custom role (time-out)

Dear Support,

We encounter a strange behaviour of the application:

When we click on ‘Create’ button to create an account from account homepage, we experience two different behavior depends on the logged in user role.

1. ADMINISTRATOR Role : View All Accounts => as soon as we click on create button, the create form opens within few seconds.
2. SALES REPRESENTATIVE Role : Custom Policies with restriction on visibility to accounts. This role can only see accounts if the user is in the Account Team or Territory. => With this role, when we click on create button I had to wait 165 seconds exactly before getting the create form OR Time-Out error.

I made a small test by adding ‘View all account’ privilege to the above SALES REP role, then the issue disappears. The Create form is launched as quick as Administrator! So to my knowledge it is the restriction on account visibility causing the issue.
