Symptoms

Browsers were upgraded to Internet Explorer v11, which is now causing an issue with the Full Download Excel Admin report. Note: the issue did not occur in earlier IE versions and does not incur in Firefox, but appears isolated to IE11.

When the report gets extracted to Excel, we get prompted to Save the file or "Save As". The option to Open the report straight away is now no longer available.
Selecting to just "Save" the file without any changes, the Report is not a legible file to Excel and the report does not open. The file name of the report reads as: =_UTF-8_Q_export=2Exls_= and does not have a real file extension.
Selecting "Save As" allows us to change the file format from "all files" to Excel. This additional step is now needed to open the file, and was not required before. We were able to open the file and save directly in Excel.

Changes

Customers that upgrade their internet browsers to IE 11 may experience this change.
