Fusion FRS : Runtime Error When Logging Into Second Version Of FR Studio

Information in this document applies to any platform.
Have 2 different versions of FR Studio (versions 126.96.36.199.x) installed in the same PC.
FR Studio from Fusion Apps: 188.8.131.52.450.820
FR Studio from Hyperion Planning: 184.108.40.206.601
Followed the instructions given in the install guide https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E40248_01/epm.1112/epm_install/frameset.htm?ch05s09s06.html to select the 'register' menu item each time they switch between versions but when switching to one version to the other, the following error appears upon login of the second version:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Install FR Studio that comes with Fusion Apps
2. Install FR Studio from Hyperion Planning in another directory
3. Register one of the versions and launch it.
From the Microsoft Windows Start menu, select Oracle, then Financial Reporting Studio , and then Register Financial Reporting Studio , where is the Financial Reporting Studio release to use.
To launch the Financial Reporting Studio version registered in the previous step, from the Microsoft Windows Start menu, select Oracle, then the folder Financial Reporting Studio , and then Financial Reporting Studio .
4. Exit out of that version.
5. Register the second version and launch it.
6. Enter login information and the error occurs.
