Custom Positive Pay File Format Not Available For Selection In The Payment Process Profile UI

Goal

Created a custom format for the positive pay file and defined that custom format as the default.
When going on to create the Payment Process Profile (PPP), the drop down list for the Format field in the Positive Pay File region,
does not show the new format.
Other custom formats for the positive pay file are displayed but not the new ones.

What may be the issue?
