Fusion Absence Management: Approvers Cannot Act on Leave Request Notifications after Upgrade

When managers tries to approve leave request for some employees, the following error is displayed:
Your request for 1 tasks was not successful.. WorkflowServiceEngine request to SOA mesh failed.. Check the underlying exception. Ensure that the SOA composite is configured correctly.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Log in with a line manager
2. Click on Notifications
3. Select the leave approval request and click on “actions” then on “approve”
4. The error is displayed
