Symptoms


When attempting to add the SYSTEM ADMINISTRATORS role to any user in Oracle Identity Manager (OIM) the following error occurs.


How to Reproduce the Issue


1. Log into OIM as admin user

2. Search for user and click open the user details

3. Click on the Roles tab

4. Click on the Assign icon

5. In the Add Role pop-up search for Display Name 'begins with' SYSTEM

6. Select SYSTEM ADMINISTRATORS and click the Add button

7. Role assignment fails with the error mentioned above
