How to download an extract definition.

Check what is being used in the definition of the extract including such items as user entities, filter criteria, parameters, and so on.

The Extract Definition shows you specific information about the extract.  When you export and open the Extract Definition, you will see information about the extract such as the following:

•    Data group and whether it is a root data group
•    The user entity that is being used
•    Any records and data records in the data group
•    The type of attributes that are in that data record

For example, if you want to analyze the contents of the extract with a data group person block, the records would be person details, addresses, assignments, and so on.
