Smallwares has a major and minor category that is set up not to depreciate. When smallwares are prepared in a spreadsheet it is showing inconsistent behavior.
For the miscellaneous transactions the “amortize” column is set to “no” but for invoices the “amortize” column is set as “blank”.
As new smallwares has been setup in assets it is noticed that some of them are depreciating even though the major/minor category is set to not depreciation.
Is it that the invoices being set as blank must be a default and is overriding the category so the assets are depreciating? Any ideas this isn’t consistent with the different transactions?
