Fusion SCM: Inconsistent Data Representation in UOM Interclass Conversion (Doc ID 2046953.1)

Last updated on APRIL 22, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Fusion Supply Chain Management Common Components - Version 11.1.7.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

There is an inconsistent data representation of the UOM Interclass Conversion, wherein the what the form shows as From UOM is stored as To UOM in the databse (inv_uom_class_conversions) and vice versa.
You are creating a Multi Row EFF for the users to enter the Inter/Intra Class UOM Conversions and then invoking the UOM Webservice to create/update in PDH.
You are having to swap the UOM Codes only for Interclass Conversion so that it appears consistent with what gets created in the Form. This is causing a lot of confusion.

The Form and the database representation should in Sync.
