Symptoms

On : 11.1.9.2.0 version, Accounts, Contacts, Households


Following 2 Issues could happen:


Issue 1
Finding deleted Contacts and Accounts in Duplicate Check
When trying to create a contact, possible duplicate records are shown as part of duplicate identification.
But this duplicate contact is already deleted and the hz_parties table shows the contact as INACTIVE status.

Delete a Contact via Contact WebService.
When re-creating a contact in UI with same name, Name Match feature stops the flow showing that as existing contact.
this is because Name Match feature is not checking the Status properly.

STEPS

1. Create a contact with first name and last name.
2. Delete this contact via contact web service (delete contact operation).
3. Try to create a new contact with first name and last name as given above.
Deleted contact should not appear in Name Match popup in the UI.

Issue 2

When there is an inactive ContactPoint (email or Mobile or anything) is attached to the Contact, then the WebService fails with following error.
To reproduce:
Create a phone number or email on a contact.
Save the record.
Delete the phone number or email.
Save the record.
Attempt to use deletePerson on the contact.

Error:
JBO-27004: Attribute set for Status in entity PhoneEO failed .
