There is a standard validation on the GTIN in Fusion Product Hub:
GTIN cannot contain values 02, 04, 05, and 10-29 in the second and third digits from the left. (EGP-2775283)
The question is where does this rule come from. There are some specific rules for target market The Netherlands: Global Trade Item Number must NOT have a number starting with 0020-0029, 0040-0049, 0200-0299 (internal GTIN not allowed)
But the standard validation excludes more GTIN's and it is not clear why this is done.
