Symptoms

Manager External Data Currency column does not default into worksheet.
When using Other columns provided to map currency then the Salary basis currency gets defaulted
However if mapping the Seeded Currey column from Manage External data in the Column Default option, it does not work.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Expecting to be able to map Currency column from Manage External Data with the Currency column of the compensation plan.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1) On Manage External Data have data for some employees, data which include also "Currency".
When this seeded column is mapped to the Worksheet default column "Base Salary Currency", the Currency does NOT reflect in the worksheet.

Setup for the "Base Salary Currency" columns is:
  • External Data Record Type : Compensation Data
  • External Data Column: Column 9

2) However if on Manage External Data, map any other custom data columns to Currency (i.e enter currency details in Column 14), the currency does reflect in the worksheet under base salary currency.

Setup for the "Base Salary Currency" columns is:
  • External Data Record Type : Compensation Data
  • External Data Column: Column 14
