Fusion Absence Management: Can the Accrual Plan Information Be Hidden from the User when Entering Absences for the Corresponding Leave Type? (Doc ID 2060687.1)

The requirement is that there should be an absence type available for the users to request, but they should not see any accrual plan when submitting.
Just using a type without a plan attached will not work because the number of leaves the user takes cannot be controlled this way.
Tried the occurrence limit setting available on the Display Features tab for the absence type, and that did not work.

Can this be done?
