Cannot View Custom Objects

On : version, Opportunities

When attempting to open custom object in SUI
the following error occurs.

An application error occurred. See the incident log for more information

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Create two custom child objects on Opportunity called Invoice and Payment.
2. Enable custom tabs to include these two custom objects
3. The Desktop UI shows the data fine
4. However, simplified UI accessing those objects give the error

"An application error occurred. See the incident log for more information"

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, you are unable to access custom tabs accessing these objects.
