Symptoms
On : 11.1.10.0.0 version, Global Payroll
When attempting to end date a payroll definition,
the following error occurs.
ERROR
-----------------------
PAY-1636182 You cannot end the payroll on this date. The payroll is assigned to a person, or it is used in a submitted process after this date.
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Setup -> Manage Payroll definition -> Select Payroll Name to end date -> Set effective date to 1/1/15 and clicked on ‘end date’
2. Receive error
Unable to retrieve content. Additional information for "Remote Region error #2":
An error occurred while invoking task Manage Payroll Definitions. Review the FunctionalSetupServer logs for more details on this error.
3. Server logs show error:
PAY-1636182 You cannot end the payroll on this date. The payroll is assigned to a person, or it is used in a submitted process after this date.
