Calculation Completed Successfully but Earning Shows Calculation Error Status Due to Per Event Incentive Formula Not Referencing Any Credit Attribute

Symptoms
Calculation process completed successfully. When review the transaction, see that it has Calculation Error status and no / null commission amount.
STEPS
1. Make changes to the compensation plan setup
2. Run calculation
3. Review results for participant and see transaction has Calculation Error status.
Navigator > Credits and Earnings > Manage Earnings
Search for transaction number and can see that the plan component has status Calculation Error ( CALCULATION_ERROR ) .
AND/OR
Navigator > Credits and Earnings > Manage Credits
Search for transaction number and can see that one of the performance measure has status Calculation Error.
Changes
Added or change a plan component to the compensation plan.
Navigator > Compensation Plan > Manage Plan Component shows :
1. Plan component "Test POC 1"
Calculate Incentive = Per Event
Incentive Type = Commission
Incentive Formula = LEAST ( Measure result.CSM Commission.PTD Output Achieved , Measure result.CSM Capped Commission.PTD Output Achieved * Measure result.Period PM.PTD Output Achieved )
2. Details of the three performance measures assigned to this plan component :
a. Name = CSM Capped Commission
Performance Interval = Annual
Credit Category ( None needed )
Process Transactions = Grouped by interval
Measure Formula = Measure.ITD Target * Plan.Target Incentive / 100
b. Name = CSM Commission
Performance Interval = Annual
Credit Category = XX
Process Transactions = Individually
Running Total = Un-Check
Measure Formula = Rate Table Rate * Credit.Credit Amount
c. Name = Period PM
Performance Interval = Period
Process Transactions = Group by interval
Measure Formula = Rate Table Rates
