Fusion Global HR: Error When Reversing Employee Termination "The Effective End Date Must Be Earlier Than The Effective End Date Of The Next Record"

Employee got terminated on 31-May-2015 and an update happened to his assignment by mistake on 01-Aug-2015.

User is getting below error message when trying to reverse the termination for one employee:

"The effective end date must be earlier than the effective end date of the next record."

User tried to delete the future record which is on 01-Aug-2015, but every time he is viewing the assignment history by clicking on the "History" button in the "Manage Employment" page and clicking on the record in 01-Aug-2015, system keep showing only the record of 01-Jun-2015 as of Resignation, so he is unable to delete the future record.

An application error has occurred. Your help desk can use the following information to obtain a more detailed description of this incident: 100, Server Doamin: HCMDomain, Server Instance: CoreProcessesServer_HA, Application Name: HcmCoreApp.
The effective end date must be earlier than the effective end date of the next record. Another record exists with an effective end date of 2015-07-31.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Go to Person Management and Search for the Employee as Inactive
2. Go to Manage Work Relationships
3. Click Action --> View Termination
4. Click on Reverse Termination button, Yes confirm it.
5. System gives error as attached.
6. Go to Manage Employment
7. Click on the History button.
8. Click on the future record "01-Aug-2015" in order to delete it.
9. the system keeps showing the record of 01-Jun-2015.
