Enhancement: Enable extra fields/DFF based on Document Type in Documents of Record (DOR)

Is it possible that a DFF opened on Document Of Record page be displayed based on the "type" selected.
Is it possible that a DFF opened on Document Of Record page be displayed based on the "type" selected?
Eg. If we select Computer ID in the type field then in the "Additional Document Record Details" a DFF should display "Computer Serial Number", but if i select "Exit Permit" in type field then "Computer Serial Number" should not be displayed.
This will be useful to the HR rep to understand the details of the document attached.
And If all the contexts displayed in every Document Type, Employee can not understand what details need to fill in order to upload his / her documents.
