Information in this document applies to any platform.
The user has defined two specific Person Types for system employee and non employee.
If the person type is updated to non employee Type at the Employment Terms level, 4. It is not reflected / copied in the Assignment: the person type remains “Employee”.
The user is then obliged to update the Assignment
If the user forgets this step to update the person type at the assignment level, submitting the transaction will not update the Assignment person type. Data won’t be aligned with the Employment Terms.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Manage Person, search for person.
2. Manage Employment. Edit, Update:
3. the Person Type at the Employment Terms level.
4. Employment terms, select assignment, see person type not reflected / copied in the Assignment: the person type remains “Employee”.
