When attempting to transfer an employee from the weekly payroll to the monthly payroll, the following error occurs:
You must specify a work location address for this person before you can attach a payroll to them. This is required for tax calculations.
The employees location has not and is not changing and the employee has successfully processed in the weekly payroll with the same location.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigator>Person Management
2. Search and select the person
3. Select the Manage Payroll Relationships task
4. Highlight the weekly payroll record
5. Select Actions>Transfer Payroll
6. Select the Monthly Payroll
7. Click Save
