In Oracle Fusion 11g, When Supplier Changes the UOM of the Negotiation Line Using Alternate Line Feature, he receives an error message “If you change the UOM, quantity for alternate line 2 will be recalculated. Do you want to continue ?” This is causing Confusion. Users misinterpret that the response quantity would be recalculated but actually system will calculate only the target quantity.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create an RFQ and Publish it, Allow Alternate Line Option
2. Supplier responds to the RFQ by changing the UOM.
3. Below message displayed but after clicking OK button, Qty didn’t get changed.
“If you change the UOM, quantity for alternate line 2 will be recalculated. Do you want to continue ?”
