Symptoms

On : 11.1.10.11.0 version, Accounts, Contacts, Households

Not able to add 'Parent Account field to the Account Profile Edit Page


When we try to add 'Parent Account' field to the Account profile edit page layout in staging, it was throwing an application error. Please find attached for the screenshots of the error messages. We tried adding it to the Default Layout and still got the error.

"The object Overview Page cannot be updated because of an error. Your help desk was notified"


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to App Composer > Account > Pages > Details page Layout
2. Add or remove any fields from Selected region.
3. Error will be displayed.

BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot make any changes to Account details page.
