Java.lang.NullPointerException Error For Worklist and Email Approval And Notifications

Symptoms

All requesters are receiving an error logo in the system generated emails when a Purchase Order (PO) is created . Also, this error prevents users from approving the PO in the Fusion Applications (FA) Worklist for a change order.


ERROR

Java.lang.NullPointerException error for worklist approval and notifications

 
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
