Data Quality: How to recognize Mexican nicknames as duplicates for Mexican First Names? (Doc ID 2196520.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 24, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Fusion Sales - Version 11.1.11.1.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

In Mexico several nicknames are used instead of First Names and currently Data Quality does not recognize them as duplicates for the actual First Names.

Example:
Name Nickname
Alberto -> Beto
Roberto -> Beto
Alfonso -> Poncho
Dolores -> Lola
Eduardo -> Lalo
Guillermo -> Memo
Nacho -> Ignacio

 This is expected behavior as the lists of standardized names used to match records does not include Mexican nicknames.

Complete list can be found on the Product Enhancement 24814038.
