A few users receive false password expired notifications from FusionProduction@Oracle.com. User's try the old password and are able to login successfully. On Demand Cloud Operations did not find any scheduled maintenance when the problem occurred. SSO is not enabled.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. User's do not know why password emails are generated. Only a few users reported this issue to the IT department.
Investigation of Environment:
The IDM domain --> user messaging service --> usermessagingserver --> message status does not show any email sent to the recipient.
Log onto OIM as the system administrator (The email address of your XELSYSADM user) and go to the profile --> attributes tab . The Email address is FusionProduction@Oracle.com.
