Goals are being duplicated when progress % is updated followed by goal update itself.
So far this issue has been reported by 2 employees:
Following upgrade to R11 in our test environment, goals were not pulling into a new performance document when document opened for first time. Additionally, updates to percent completion by employee were not visible when accessed by manager using My Team view. When accessed again by employee and goal fully opened, then saved and closed (no other updates, trying to make completion percentage visible to manager) system duplicated the goal that was opened. One version of the goal showed the goal with the updated percentage and the one created with 0 percent complete. Was able to replicate with another employee. In both cases, goals had been created prior to upgrade.
Goals should be pulled into performance document
Manager view should show updated completion percentage as well sa correct progress
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Log in as employee in Fusion Goal Management After Rel 11 upgrade
a. Ensure that 2017 goals exist. Open End of Year 2017 or End of Year 2017 (Rating not shared with employee) performance document for self-evaluation for the first time. Goals do not pull into performance document correctly.
b. Go back to view of goals shown above. Update % complete for goals by clicking on progress circle and changing numeric value. Can exit and return for employee view and % complete change is still visible to employee.
c. Log out as employee. Log in as manager. From My Team and Goals/Commitments card, find employee and view % complete specified for employee. Manager’s view does not show updated completion %.
d. Log out as manager. Log back in as employee and go to goals view. Click on the goal name to open up details. Without changing anything else, click on Save and Close button.
e. View goes back to Goals listing view which now shows an additional goal that is a duplicate of the one opened for detailed view. One copy of the goal retains the sharing and alignment status of the goal and no progress. The other version shows the progress %.
f. Logging out as employee and back in as manager, manager can now see both copies of the goal as well as the updated % complete for the goal that was opened then Saved and Closed. Other goals still show no progress.
