Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Allow Primary beneficiary to be a Contingent beneficiary too

Client would like to allow Primary beneficiaries to be contingent beneficiaries too. For e.g. Employee can allocate Spouse and Child to be primary beneficiaries by 50% each. However if Spouse is not available during insurance claim, all the amount(100%) should go to the child. This can be achieved only by keeping the child as 100% contingent beneficiary.
Current application functionality doesn't allow that and gives an error message.

Does the product allow primary beneficiaries to be contingent beneficiaries too by doing any setup changes?
