Fusion Workforce Compensation: Does The Effective Date In Grade Step Progression Process Auto-increment When Scheduled To Run Daily (Doc ID 2216845.1)

Last updated on JUNE 08, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Fusion Compensation - Version 11.1.11.1.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

The customer wishes to schedule the Grade Step Progression (GSP) process to run daily which evaluates every assignment that is eligible for progression as of sysdate and processes it.

But, on the Grade Step Progression process, there is no way to specify that the effective date should be incremented.

So, for example, Customer is able to schedule the Grade Step Progression process to run every day at a particular time. Client expects the effective
date to either increment automatically or for the effective date parameter to be made non-mandatory such that it can be left blank (and the assumption is that it will pick the sysdate while the process runs).
