Adding Dependents during Non Scheduled life event window in Employee Self-Service (ESS)
When enrolling through ESS, the employee has a window of a month and can submit their enrollments. However, if they forget to add their dependent or a new dependent becomes available to them within the enrollment window AFTER they submit their enrollments, they are unable to go back and add their dependent during the enrollment window without the Ben Admin reprocessing the life event for the employee. This is not the case with Open Enrollment where the employee can go in multiple times and add dependents without needing to reprocess.
Customer needs the non scheduled life events to have the same functionality as Open Enrollment for adding dependents. If the enrollment window is still open and the employee has submitted their enrollments, they should be able to add a dependent, go back into the enrollment and add the new dependent to plans WITHOUT having to have a benefits admin reprocess the event to pick up the new dependent information.
