Can not Assign Compensation Plan Via a Role Using Webservice or Manually Error : A connection to the server has failed. (status = 504) (Doc ID 2237174.1)

Symptoms

The participants are normally assigned to the compensation plan via a webservice by role fairly quickly.
This time, the webservice process hangs.
If tried to assigned directly via participant snapshot, after a while get error message.

 

ERROR

A connection to the server has failed. (status = 504)


STEPS
1. Navigator > Participant Snapshot > Manage Participant Detail (Add Role to assign the compensation plans)
or
2. Webservice call to ... /icCnSrpSetupPublicService/ParticipantServiceV2?WSDL  -  assignCOMPRoleToParticipant


Changes

 Release 11 Patch Bundle # 14 was just applied.
