Unable To View Calculation Log. A Connection to the server has failed (error=504) or Export Limit

Information in this document applies to any platform.
The calculation failed with error and profile CN Debug is enable. However, user is not able to retrieve the calculation log file to view the error message.s
When user click on View Log icon, the cursor keeps spinning and the screen times-out, showing the message "A Connection to the server has failed (error=504)" .
Excel export of log gives reached export limit message.
