Symptoms

Customer has enabled notifications and password reset notification in Security console, but user does not receive email notification after password reset



Steps to reproduce:

1. Login to fusion application
2. Click Navigator -> Tools : Security console -> Administration -> Notifications tab, enable notification as below ( (Starting from fusion release 11.13.18.05.00, the navigation path is changed to  Navigator -> Tools : Security Console -> User Categories -> Default -> Notification )

 when an administrator reset an user's password, Password Generated event will be triggered and associated email template will be used. for self password reset (include using forgot password link), Password Rest event will be triggered

and its associated email template will be used

 

3. Click Navigator -> Tools : Security console -> Users -> select user -> Reset Password
Email notification is not sent to the user email
