Symptoms

On : 11.1.11.1.0 version, Set Up Asset Lifecycle Management-Define Fixed Assets

Error occur when suspend depreciation on an asset. Error message as below:

The revaluation reserve amortization basis must be the same as the revaluation reserve of the asset.
The Suspend or resume depreciation transaction 300000244926960 failed for asset number 65091.
The number of records processed is 0.
The number of records that failed is 1.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps, for example
1)add an asset with
cost 1000
reserve 100
reval amort basis 10
reval reserve 10
Date placed in service Jan-12
Amortisation start date mar-12
Current open period Mar.
2) adjust cost to 105
3) revalue the asset.
NBV and amount -5
reval reserve set to NO
amortize reval reserve to YES
4) Run depreciation for the period
5) suspend depreciation
get the error
The revaluation reserve amortization basis must be the same as the
revaluation reserve of the asset.
The Suspend or resume depreciation transaction XXXXXX failed for
asset number XXXXX.
The number of records processed is 0.
The number of records that failed is 1.
