How To Create Descriptive Flexfield LOV With No Validation? (Doc ID 2272860.1)

Customer’s requirement is that the User should be able to fill custom value which is not part of the Independent Value Set.

For example:
1. User created Independent Value Set with values “A”, “B” and “C”.
2. Then created DFF that is based on the Value Set at the Purchase Order Header Level.
3. User creates a new Purchase Order he is able to select the value from the list.
4. Requirement is that if the User want to fill Custom Value say “ABC” which is not part of the LOV then system must not validate it and allow the custom value.
