Fusion Applications - Some BPM Worklist Options Are Not Supported For Aggregated Tasks (Doc ID 2274878.1)

Symptoms

There are issues reported for the human tasks set with aggregation when the transaction to be approved has multiple lines. An aggregated task is a human task which has to be approved only once by an approver, disregarding the number of occurrences of the approver in the calculated approval chain. For example, think about a purchase order that contains a separate line for every product to be acquired. If the corresponding human task is set with aggregation then it is sufficient that every approver in the approval chain to approve the transaction one time for all lines, otherwise he/she has to approve once per every line of the transaction.

At a certain moment in the approval process, if an approver wants to reassign the aggregated task to another user, by logging in the BPM Worklist application and selecting the appropriate option, the aggregation of the task is lost. As a result multiple notifications are generated for the same task and every approver has to approve the task multiple times.

The same behavior has been reported for BPM Worklist escalation option. Also adding comments to an aggregated task is not allowed, the following error is thrown:
