Last updated on JUNE 20, 2017

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Scenario:

In Find Criteria Filter, what syntax should be used if we want to compare values in two attributes.

For example, to implement "Select * from <table> where LastUpdateDate > '23 Feb 2017', we use the following syntax and get results.

<typ:findCriteria>
<typ1:fetchStart>0</typ1:fetchStart>
<typ1:fetchSize>4</typ1:fetchSize>
<!--Optional:-->
<typ1:filter>
<typ1:group>
<typ1:item>
<typ1:upperCaseCompare>false</typ1:upperCaseCompare>
<typ1:attribute>LastUpdateDate</typ1:attribute>
<typ1:operator>AFTER</typ1:operator>
<typ1:value>2017-02-23</typ1:value>
</typ1:item>
</typ1:group>
</typ1:filter>
</typ:findCriteria>

What syntax should be used if we want to implement " Select * from <table> where LastUpdateDate > DateValidated". Here DateValidated is another attribute in the table.

Also, can we do DATE only check? (like TRUNC(LastUpdateDate) > TRUNC(DateValidated))
