Cannot Update User Name (Doc ID 2283574.1)

Symptoms

If you are a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) customer, there are multiple sections in this document that need not be performed by you. Please log a Service Request in My Oracle Support for Oracle to do this for you.

 

When trying to update an user's username in Manage User Account page, the value is reverted back after clicking save and close 


Steps to reproduce:

1. Login to fusion application
2. Click Navigator -> Person Management -> search and open the user --> click Manage User account
3. Modify user's username, click save and close
4. Search and open the user again, it still show old value
