Need To Update Values On A Revenue Table Field Of Each Row Based On Values Of Other Rows. (Doc ID 2289587.1)

Last updated on JULY 30, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle Fusion Sales - Version 11.1.11.1.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

On : 11.1.11.1.0 version, Opportunities

I need to write a script which will run on a "Before update in database" condition and will do the following for each row of the revenue table:

- loop through the rows of the revenue table and retrieve some values
- make a calculation with the retrieved values
- update a field on the row.

API NAMES:

RowNumber_c
ProductType_c (LOV with values ACCESSORY, OPTIONAL, PRIMARY)
RevnAmount
PackPrice.

The script needs to add the prices (RevnAmount) of PRIMARY and ACCESSORY products (OPTIONAL are ignored) between two "Primary" products and write the calculated amount on the field PackPrice_c in the same line as the first PRIMARY product.

In order to make things easier we have added the field (RowNumber_c) which the user manually fills in and can be used to sort the entries of the revenue table in the desired order.
