Accounting For Inventory Transfer Transactions Within Same Valuation Unit (Doc ID 2294258.1)

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Client have a requirement to account for transactions within the same valuation unit.

Example:

If Cost Structure is at Cost Organization level only , means the item cost is shared across multiple Inventory Organizations assigned to this Cost Organization.

This will lead to on Valuation Unit for each Cost Organization.

Now if user do a transfer transaction between these Inventory Organizations, no costing will happen and subsequently no accounting will be generated for this transactions.

Client have a requirement to account for these type of transactions.
