Developers have a requirement to invoke custom ESS jobs from web services. To prove the concept we have tried submitting jobs from Soap UI and it works fine.
Client want the authentication embedded in the submit Request to be encrypted.  The Final caller of the custom ESS jobs will be a third party system called Control EM which uses SALT encryption for security. ESS jobs will be invoked from Control EM  in production.

What is the best approach to de-encrypt a SALT encrypted username/password and handle SALT encrypted credentials when ESS jobs are invoked by Web services?
