Goal

Please advise how we can retrieve the following details from an employee's assignment, where there have been date effective changes made?

Lets say assignment record an employee is like this:

Date Grade FTE
01-10-17 Sr.Consultant 1
01-02-17 Consultant 0.75

How to retrieve the details for the assignment, based on an effective date?
