Lagging Performance For Managing POs With Many Lines

Managing large POs is difficult, getting performance issue with extensive lag time.
Editing a Purchase Order with 80+ lines is taking a long time. Scrolling through rows in the lines table to find the items is extremely slow and next to impossible. After submitting the order it takes a very long time for the system to report back on the list of approvers and where it is in the approval tree.
Also, the ability to query by example the row(s) to be updated if something about those rows are known before hand like the item number. This is not sufficient, as the system is slow to scroll, even when detaching the list. User scrolls, waits for new lines to load, then scrolls again, waits for new lines to load, and on and on.
