SSL Certificates Not Working While Configuring SSL For OHS (Doc ID 2334641.1)

SSL Certificates are not working while configuring SSL for OHS and the following error occurs




The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Users have an on premise Fusion Application Release 8 environment and the OHS version is

2. Administrators are configuring SSL for OHS on the IDM server with external certificates and key i.e. generated outside the OHS Wallet Manager. Administrators  followed the 2nd process (Using OpenSSL) mentioned in How to Convert a Certificate and Private Key to an Oracle Wallet, Using ssl2ossl or openssl, for Use with Oracle Application Server 10g (Doc ID 184701.1) for importing certificates and keys into a wallet  and generating auto-login wallet file cswallet.sso.

3.The FMW console was used to map SSL virtual host *4443 with our oracle wallet , however this does not seem to be working and gives the mentioned certificate error. These certificates are with wild card signed by trusted CA.
